I don't want to get too far into it, but I do think that it shows a linear connection between Shakespeare's use of naming and the political rhetoric of naming.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17412852270251312469noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8821350472422810239.post-43307302200811709582016-11-15T10:01:01.428-07:002016-11-15T10:01:01.428-07:00I know that this isn't your papers direction, ...I know that this isn't your papers direction, but it would be very interesting to tie in the current political rhetoric and naming and how that affects things.Kevin Dormanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11741301834210005511noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8821350472422810239.post-87280215430448731722016-11-15T08:25:50.015-07:002016-11-15T08:25:50.015-07:00I love this idea! I think labeling is often very important in Shakespeare, like in The Merchant of Venice with Shylock's label as a Jew or even Hamlet and his family being compelled to act certain ways because of their labels as royals. This might make it too long or convoluted, but it might be fun to play with!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13154974825689557581noreply@blogger.com
