Sonnet 116 recited by Melissa Weigeshoff

Here is my recitation of Shakespeare's Sonnet 116, got my roommate to help me by standing behind the camera like I was talking to her. I hope ya'll like it as it is not done in a traditional fashion. Also forgive the soda, I need something so I would stop playing with my hair.

  1. I really liked the delivery, the gestures and pacing gave it a real, passionate feel. Even the Shasta cola contributed to the realism. I would say the lighting could be improved a wee bit.

  2. Did you act? You seem really comfortable and you perform the sonnet not just recite it. Good job!

    1. I used to act in High School and my first couple years of college, but I don't any more, thank you, I appreciate it.

  3. I agree, you seem really comfortable. I love how you love and make it dynamic rather than just sitting staticly.
